Modern Renaissance

I should have posted this long time ago, as there was a Renaissance Fair in my school (22/05/2012) and everyone was allowed to wear Renaissance outfit.

At that time, I wasn’t really sure about what Renaissance is. But, when my desk-mate, Guang Yu, explained to me: “You wear a super long skirt and a long sleeved shirt!” What comes to my mind was Barbie as the Princess and the Pauper, because in  in the movie, all the character were dressing that way and I really love Erica’s dress.

Hello, let’s meet up tomorrow…

Every Sunday, we should go to the church. Osa, when can we play keyboard again? Kak Ana, I’ll help you to find some people to collect offerings. I miss Pdt. Edward’s preaching which is so damn funny!

It’s always feels great to practice keyboard until late at night, with my team members. Trying our best to play music for God.

I will come to the prayer meeting on Thursday, because I miss the warm feeling I always get after gathering with my beloved Korem. Let’s hold each other’s hands and pray, for there is an immeasurable power in it.  

Let’s go and have fun in the mall like what we used to do. Let’s look out for some “good views”, we called.

Let’s play Pump It Up EX. Harvey or Devin, could you teach me how to play Turkey In Straw level 8 and Starian level 7? Let’s go to the karaoke box also, and take some pictures, then use it as BBM display picture. Putri, please don’t post the photo when my face is unglam!

NLite, what movie is popular nowadays? Shall we watch the 3D movie?

We should go and buy similar items also: bracelet, hairpin, key chain, or phone straps. Let’s wear them together and of course, take pictures.

I think I will go to Richard H.’s Crown Salon. Have some hair spa or maybe chocolate cream bath? I like the chocolate smell best. Oh yeah let’s have some Japanese body massage at Nakamura also! I think I will be so refreshed after I’ve done all of these.

Don’t forget to visit Semawis Night Market, paint my nails and eat es puter.

Let’s stay awake until late at night. Online, texting, listening to music, living like what we called “nocturnal”. For being there for your friend means a lot more than what you expected.

I promise to visit our former school, Domenico Savio Junior High School. Let’s greet our beloved teachers: Ms. Etna, Pak Budi, Pak Ali, Mr. Erwan, Bu Swan, Bu Kris, and others. Is the school OB, Pak Pargiyo still there? Is Mba Herni still working in the school’s cooperative? How’s Brother Anton and Brother Romi?

I want to visit my class, IX H. I miss walking across the corridor in the morning. Line up before going inside the class, and if we become the leader on that day, we usually chose our best friend’s line to go in first. Morning devotion and reciting Hail Mary and Our Father. Also saying “Domsav is the best!” before starting the lessons.

Let’s have lunch together after that. I want mie ayam Pak Sam, but I miss bakso malang and nasi goreng telur also. How? So hard to decide, I want cireng, telur puyuh ceplok, leker, and siomay Pak Turhaji also.

Do you remember we always go home late, because we want to just play together after school. Gossiping, we create funny names that only us know. “Eneg-eneg”, “Ikh”, and “Fuh”. Do you remember the first time we talk to that one boy, and we were like “Oh my god, this is the happiest moment in my life!” LOL. Poke Christa, Katrin, Jessica, and Tanti.

And every night before humanities test, some of us usually slept very late. Right, Syeren, Ellen? I used to sleep for only two hours, but that one friend said she did not sleep at all. (Hi Prisca! :D) No matter how many hours we slept, we still have fun after all the tests end.

At home, if we heard the kentung sound from the janganan seller, I must buy! Plus the kerupuk and noodles. 

I miss riding the motor cycle with my dad also, every night when I’m too tired of studying, he will bring me out with the motor cycle around the neighborhood, so that I can refresh my brain.

There are times when my best friends come to my house to do school project. There are times when Syeren, Ellen, Maressa, Belinda, Faustine, and Laras come to my house to gather before we go out together. There are also times when my friends, especially these friends: Harvey, Devin, Richard, and Jerry, usually come to copy my homework, which most of the time I didn’t allowed them to copy mine. Once, there is this time when they come to say good by to me before I’m leaving. There are always times when my friends truly care for me.

So let’s meet up together, because I’m going home tomorrow…

I Am Sixteen! (part I)

Today is my 16th birthday and I’m sooo glad! From the beginning of the day until now, 24th of May 12:30AM, everything is just perfect! I regret for ever thought that I won’t really expect too much for my birthday. Before, I never really look forward to my birthday because I always waited for May 26th to come, so that I can go back to Indonesia. But now, I can honestly say that my 16th birthday is one of my fantastic birthday ever! :)

Be Bohemian-ish!

YAY! Finally it’s Friday and I’m kinda relieved knowing my mid year GPA is not so bad (although it’s not so good also), LOL. Feels like writing my last blog post before going back to Indonesia, which is 8 days from now. Can’t waittt.

Here’s the post that I’ve promised you. Before this I said that I went to Bugis Street to shop and I bought a bunny-printed blouse and this bohemian legging. But I’ve only uploaded the blouse. And now… here’s the legging!

This is my first bohemian style outfit and I’m sooo stunned! The print is so funky and I love the color also. Yes, turquoise blue, I’m currently in love with this color! :)

Bugis Bunny

Finally I can go shopping! After all my PPA on term 2 have all finished, I decided to go to Bugis, my favourite place in Singapore to shop. Check out what I found in Bugis!

Oversized cotton blouse, always easy to mix and match. Looking at the colour, I decided to wear it with my dark blue Levis jeans. Adorable and so comfy!

I Wanna Be a Healthy Person

A very quick post before going to sleep. Must sleep early because tomorrow is the first day of term 2! :)

Today’s service at Heart of God Church was totally awesome! Although it was about choosing and becoming the right life partner, which is still far from my thoughts, but there are some values which is really like a gate opener in my mind. Pastor said only healthy people can have healthy marriages. When he preached about some fatal flaws, who not to choose and what not to become as a right life partner, I sometimes bow my head. Too embarrassed to show my face as I realized that I maybe have some of the fatal flaws.
